Who is Muddy Creek Ceramics?

Hey there! I’m Melinda, the sole creator of this ceramics shop, where every piece of pottery is designed and hand crafted by me. My hope is to connect the human touch of ceramics into a special moment, ritual or space for your home and life.

From the moment of my first community class in Harrisonburg, Va in 2018 I knew I found a place to rest my mind and connect with my creative spirit. Amidst the mothering duties of little ones at that time I found space, community and a piece of me that was desperate to be nurtured. It was slow, steady progress as I honed my skills in between a life with a young family. Then in 2023, with teenagers wanting their own space, I had time to bump up my passion of pottery into making it a business.

So here I am creatively playing, making a mess and beauty from clumps of clay into pieces for you to enjoy!
